While it’s the same agave (cupreata) and distillation process, the new Cupreata Expression has a slightly different taste profile, a bit earthier with similar herbaceous notes. This is because the agave is impacted by where it grows (e.g., soil, climate, topography). Therefore, each new batch of mezcal produced will be unique.

This mezcal batch was distilled by Maestro Mezcalero, Juan. Whereas the previous Cupreata batch was distilled by Maestro Don Livorio.
